Not for profit agencies must be transparently accountable to the general public, and ensure their policies and procedures fully comply with all relevant legislation.

We were pleased therefore, that following an external audit of our services and systems in March 2002, Guide Dogs Victoria received certification as a quality endorsed organisation. Our AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 accreditation is an internationally recognised standard in Quality Management and Systems that acknowledges our "quality management system for the provision of services which develop independent mobility skills of people with a vision impairment."

Guide Dogs Victoria is committed to providing high quality, safe, independent mobility to people who have a vision disability. We recognise individual rights to quality of life, security and opportunities within the general community.
